First, They Came For...

When the police came for the murderers,
I remained silent.
I was not a murderer.

When the police came for the rapists,
I remained silent.
I was not a rapist.

When the police came for the child molesters,
I remained silent.
I was not a child molester.

When the police came for the thieves and burglars,
I remained silent.
I was not a thief or a burglar.

Then, the police pretty much stopped coming.
I'm not remaining silent any longer.
"Why didn't they ever come for the hippies!?" I screamed.

Pretty Much

"Islam is a cult. Nothing more."

Iowa Caucus - Racism

This idea of a caucus is racist in so many ways. Firstly, why is it ok to call a group of Caucasians a 'caucus'? Frankly, it sounds insulting. Secondly, why doesn't Iowa allow people who are of non-caucus heritage the right to vote? That's illegal, plain and simple.

In fairness, I haven't read up on the exact ins and outs of the Iowa primaries.

Current Politics Explained

Do you find the current presidential campaign kind of boring? I certainly do. Well, did. But that's all changed, now that toast has been injected into the discussion. The whole field seems somehow more interesting!

Now if someone could get the candidates to mention what their favorite toasted bread product is, I'm sure I'd be able to come out of the undecided camp. It's time for the candidates to verbally state their position on this important food type without any equivocating. Who's with me?

Thanks to Sister Toldjah for finding this.
